DVR/NVR Integration
The following is a list of DVR/NVR manufacturers that are currently supported by the latest release versions of DSX. These drivers were operational when released but are not guaranteed to be compatible with current DVR/NVR revisions due to possible changes with the DVR/NVR. Please verify with DVR/NVR Manufacturer to assure current compatibility.
The DSX Integration side does not change as new revisions to the WinDSX system become available. Revisions to DVR/NVR software and hardware could alter the operability between DSX and the DVR/NVR. Revisions and changes to the DVR/NVR drivers created by DSX are at the discretion of DSX and are limited by the availability and cooperation of the DVR/NVR manufacturer.
The “DVR/NVR Drivers” in some cases will come on the Flash Drive Media furnished by DSX when the key is purchased, while others will only be available from the DVR/NVR manufacturer.

Note: All DVR units must be LAN/WAN capable to be compatible with DSX Access Systems, Inc. software.
DSX can provide a Software Development Kit to assist you in creating your own driver. DVR Integration is now available in DSX Version 5 and 6 software for no additional cost.

HID has Card+Bio and Bio only devices that integrate well with DSX.

Visitor Management
Administration of Visitors is a seamless feature of the WinDSX System. Visitors can be added to the system and tracked through the secure premises. Reports can be generated showing the Visitors card use and who they came to visit. Just as with most features in WinDSX, Visitor Management can be implemented and deployed in different ways. The MRI Angus Visitor Security module is a secure, web-based, easy-to-use visit and access card management solution which maximizes security desk efficiency. Properties can streamline registration, capture visitor photos, print badges, and activate/deactivate access cards. Through our access control system (ACS) connectors, we integrate with a variety of systems, allowing for a streamlined process where visit information is automatically shared between MRI Angus and properties ACS, enabling visitors to pass through access points using QR code scanning.
